hi y'all
anyone got any experience of playfield overlays? I'm concerned about how flat they'll lay and whether they'll affect play at all
anyone know about them?
thx dave

do you mean the ones with the artwork on that glue down to the playfield or the clear loose playfield protectors?

the stick on artwork ones are thin glossy vinyl and play very well. you can clear coat over the top too.

the playfield protectors are mylar or acrylic, so quite slippy but play nice and fast and smooth . the hardtop overlays are similar in playing style.

imho all better than a ball rolling on unprotected or waxed paintwork.

The Classic Arcades ones from USA are apparently a bit hit and miss with the artwork alignment. Ive used 2 - Centaur and Harlem G'trotters and both lined up well to be honest.
