Hey guys,

I'm off with a couple of friends to see Doug Stanhope in Manchester this Saturday. Think Bill Hicks with fewer inhibitions and more alcohol.

Anyhow we have an early pass so will have some time to kill en route. Where is good for some silver ball action along the M6 corridor or around Manchester or thereabouts?

Cheers in advance,

Lloyd

If you stop in Birmingham, visit The Flapper pub in the centre of Birmingham - always 2 pins in there and always mint examples.

Nothing in the Greater Manchester area? Pinformer suggests there may be a couple, but I've been on wild goose chases after games on there before and haven't really got the time to be driving around to pubs on the off-chance.

Brewdog in Manchester will have at least one in decent condition (plus ace ale)

Just to close this off, we went to the Dockyard in Salford Quays as it was close to the venue. They had a very nice MB but the right flipper was about 20 degrees too shallow so you could only backhand off that side of the playfield.

Still, we drank some beers and shoved a few quid in and the comedy show was good.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks.
