Spent two great evenings last week at Joystick retro bar in the centre of Prague
industrial basement bars seem to suit Barcades and it was packed on the Thursday with the expected hipster crowd enjoying cheap beers and cheep games (all arcade cabs and pins were around 10kcz a go (around 30p) although TMNT pin was 3 goes for 10kcz and despite being a less than spectacular machine was great fun. (it had a playfield overlay which made the game look both shiney and very fast) . Got talking to a couple of German pinheads one of whom operates a few games in his home town to support his hobby. Ghostbusters is fantastic on site according to him. Agreed the bar had gone for good range of B titles and lower with CFTBL sticking out as a bit too "good". the locals didnt seem to care. Bar manager said that Flintstones and Popeye very popular whislt no one played Fishtales. After a "few" flagons of local lager WWF seemed a lot more fun than I remember. Cheap beer and 2nd tier pinball defintely make a great combo.
