It'll be something that was being developed while (regular) Addams was in production, I'd guess it's for a tilt warning in Creature from Black Lagoon. That would fit with trying to cop a feel at the drive-in.
Ages ago there was a BBC series which included footage from the Bally/Midway plant, with Xenon and Skateball coming off the production line, while a whitewood was easily recognisable as Flash Gordon, using blue Xenon bumper caps.
