The clear out continues! This is a Nova Apparate cocktail table that came with a bootleg Pleiades pcb but was originally a Phoenix. I've stripped it down and cleaned it all up when I first got it and also picked up an original Phoenix board. The game is fully working as Pliades and you can see from the pics that the Phoenix board is good but to convert it back would need part of the JAMMA harness re-wiring as Pleiades doesn't use the 2nd button. Overall the game is in original unrestored condition with scratches to the top glass and the usual wear and tear on the cabinet but the monitor is nice and the original Phoenix control panels look to be in really nice shape.

Price is £500 £450 £400 £350 for the Pleiades cab and the Phoenix board  I'll be posting this on UKVAC later but thought I'd offer it up here first.

nice ones of these are getting harder to find these days,as so many have been hacked about with the internals ripped out and an lcd and 60-1 stuck inside

I've been informed by someone on UKVAC that this is a Nova Apparate table rather than Taito so thread updated

Not much interest in this cool little cab? A bump for the weekend and 50 quid off so lets say £450 (still with the Phoenix board)

I just noticed - the spelling on the title screen is PLIADES - rather than Pleiades
Also found this on the internets.. and its different again !?

(Sorry not trying to derail the thread - suprised this hasnt been snapped up by now)

Yeah I think the board in mine is a bootleg  Tbh it would be worth converting this back to Phoenix.

I guess what might put some off is that whilst both are fun games probably not as entertaining long term as other classics.

What put me off was the look on my wife's face when I suggested buying something else...🤣😉😉 (Seriously, I'm done asking forgiveness)

Genuinely a great price for a price of history. I think a single game played as it was intended is better than a 60 - 1 gutted box.

Good luck 🤞

Pleiades I can get (although it's still pretty cool) but Phoenix is up there for me. It's not on the same level as Galaga but easily as good as Space Invaders, Galaxian etc

Sorry to be a pain, is there wires ready for an extra button and does the screen flip on two player with phoenix board in please ?
