Continued from my Jurassic Park thread.
Is there a source of new Data East MPUs or a place that can repair an existing board?
Mine has some minor scorching around Q23 and getting strange game behaviour. Game enters attract and plays attract sounds but no DMD.
Game will start but from the sounds not properly. Resistor packs get hot.. trough coil hot even though transistor not shorted. Removing F5 from power supply board and yet the dinosaur still moves left right so thinking MPU is stuffed.
Some of the connectors have a bit of a whitish corrosion but I think the source of this problem is the burnt MPU traces.
