Metallica DMD in a Stern Indy?

Hi,

A fella on another forum has a wanted for a Stern red dmd for his Indy.

I took one out of a Metallica, are they just interchangeable?

Hi Lloyd.

I pulled the red display out of my Metallica and put it in a Roadshow for a while and that worked OK. I needed to do some fancy cable-fu though. I can't remember what cable I needed but it wasn't too complicated.

Hopefully it’s even easier in a Stern game. I think Indy was SAM iirc.

I can't remember what voltage the red displays run off, but obvs important to get it right!

It's 5V

Ive put a red display from a Metallica into a Spiderman which was fine. Check the voltages as mentioned above
