For sale is my Stern LOTR. By far the deepest code and longest lasting machine in my collection. If you are looking for a game that you are not going to beat and has a multitude of shots and ways to play, then this is the grail. Still haven't got everyone across the bridge while hitting the Balrog in Fellowship multiball, (possibly the most intense multiball in pinball I think)

The machine plays perfectly and is mechanically and electronically sound. Playfield is in great condition.

This machine was bought off here about 4 years ago, it's a UK version with disabled skill posts and it's got some work that you could do on it if you are looking to bring it up to pristine quality. Some of the characters are missing weapons etc and might be better being swapped out for better characters if you are into modding. The rubber palantir has been replaced with a real glass ball with a colour changing led underneath. You might want to swap that or keep it.

The machine has some LEDS but I have kept original bulbs in most cases as I thought they better matched the theme and LED's flicker if you don't add a specific board to avoid this. Again if you wanted to do some work you could convert the machine to LED's. The majority of plastics are sound, however one on the left above the VUK has a hairline crack. Think these are readily available.

I have recently completely swapped out the original loom for the Balrog and added LEDs which means he works flawlessly. Also work has been done on the flippers and both are strong which is needed for the ring shot.

The cabinet is pretty sound but has a few dings and scuffs as you'd expect. It has half moon plates to cover the skillpost buttons so they are not visible.

The machine has the alternative translight and the Silly Elf Side Blades which look brilliant on this machine.

So, I've seen LOTR's on here in the mid 5K's and 4K's. If you've been looking for a LOTR but wanted a sound machine with headspace as a doer-upper project this is it.

I've priced this machine appropriate to it's condition at £3700

This is the best Bang for the Buck machine you're going to see.
