Kiss problem

When I start up my Kiss machine, the score for player one just keeps going up and up on its own. Any ideas on solving the problem?

Is this the new Stern machine, or an older Bally?

probably a faulty switch somewhere repeatedly triggering.

Thanks for the reply. It’s the old Bally - not great at repairs, but any idea where to start looking?

I don’t see what the problem is? Enter the Social Distancing Competition and thank your lucky stars.

first check the obvious stuff: is one of the rollover switches triggering because it’s pushed down a bit too far? same if it has any bumpers that score, like my paragon has.

Put the game in switch test to find out if one is stuck on. See here for more information on how to do that (5th press of test button for switch test):

It is your friend here it tells you the numbers of the switches and where that are on the playfield etc etc ..

+1 for switch test, note it only reports the first closed switch encountered so work through opening any that are reporting closed, like outhole (08)

Problem solved! Not altogether sure how, but I put it in switch test mode, cleaned switches and all seems to be ok now. Not been on this site much before, but am mightily impressed at how many people responded with informed opinion. A big thanks to all!
