I've got a problem with a Stern SAM IO Power Driver Board.
With a lot of help from @mplayfield I'm fairly certain it's one particular transistor ( Q27 ). Thanks Martin.
So, just need to replace one transistor.
Why don't I do it? Back in those sunny days when a Data East pin cost a few quid I did do board repairs, twice, with technically successful but messy results. It was a fraught process and I don't want to chew up my pristine Stern board.
Is there anyone near Plymouth who can help or, if not, who best to send it too?
