Help needed with a kinky flap

Get your minds out of the gutter...... ;-)

The ramp flap on my WABAC ramp seems to have developed a nasty kink. It's actually slightly raised in the middle and whilst you can press it down it just causes somewhere else to lift.

It's a brand new ramp that I got from The Pin Witch in Germany a year or two ago. It seemed fine when I fitted it the first time but evidently i've disturbed it whilst stripping and replacing some parts.

So; the question for you kind people is this.

Can it be easily fixed? Or is the only option to remove the flap and have it re-rivetted again?

I'd really appreciate any suggestions on this one.

Sounds like the holes in the ramp are not quite lining up withe the ones in the flap thus causing the kink.
Will need to be removed and the holes in ramp making wider.
Hope that makes sense.
D.

It does - but that suggests it needs the rivets removing too?

I don't have the tools nor the skills to do it unfortunately. :-(

Yes the rivets need removing.
If you want to send it to me I can fix it for you.
Or bring it to NLP and I can do it there for you.
