My ex was convinced by her wine drinking girl friends that she could have everything.
The judge corrected her on the 2nd hearing and she settled a week before the third and final hearing as it was not going to go well and her with her attitude

I struggle big time with being able to moan sufficiently about parasitic Insurance Companies whilst not acknowledging that it allows me to live on my choice of “hobby” job. Pretty certain I fit the stereotype of the wife from the 1950s as I fit my job around childcare and food prep.

The low point came about 10 years ago when Anna returned late from work and I suggested maybe we could get a takeaway in for a change. She wasn’t keen as she’d been with clients at Gordon Ramsey‘s Maze the day before.

Without thinking I said that was fine for her but I never get to eat out for work. that would of been OK but then I said “And you haven‘t taken me anywhere for ages”.

****, it was a watershed. Not only was I the woman in my relationship. I’ve become one of those weak and whiny women We just looked at each other and I had to go out into the garden to discover exactly where I had left my balls.

on the plus side I’m pretty sure any alimony would kill her if we split.

Glad im not the only one who has the problem of wine drinking single friends (luckily I wasn't daft enough to get married just have two children)
