Decided to move on my Bounter Hunter for other things. Think this was Gottliebs first System 80B, never distributed in the UK and pretty sure mine is one of only two in the UK (the other for sale at Coin Op King) so pretty rare over here. It's got cool comic book type artwork, much better than some of their later 80B cheese titles.
I imported this from France a few years back, was a big project to restore but think I got it as good as can be:
The good:
Working 100%. Display and all boards good, new coin cell battery to CPU.
Grounding good and 5V regulator replaced with no issues on boot.
Playfield stripped and cleaned top and bottom and all mechs cleaned, new sleeves, new flipper rebuilds etc.
New stand up round targets (not matching originals)
Backglass is pretty good with only minor areas of missing art.
All good plastics except one - see below.
High polished chrome legs, bolts and black leg protectors.
The not so good:
One side and rear of MDF cabinet lumpy, the side art I painted back in by hand.
Playfield had previous wear around the pop bumpers, painted back in (brown is not perfect match) and mylared over.
Mylar is quite extensive. some overlapping to protect redone artwork.
One plastic with missing piece (repaired) as pictured.
More pics will follow, tried to be as descriptive as possible but suggest local view and inspection best if possible. Pickup NW/Preston area or Martin been here loads.
