Glow balls

Hello
Got a flyer for glow in the dark balls .
Now they are not cheap so was wondering has anyone used them ?
Thinking of them for tmnt

They look good BUT, while sitting in the ball trough they get no light and so do not "charge".

If you were to install some way of lighting them (charging) while they are sitting idle in the trough I think they would be great.
