I've recently spent a considerable amount of time and effort colour matching all the lamps under the playfield of my JP with Pinball.Center's Noflix Plus "superflux" LEDs.

Last week I replaced every old strobing LED in the backbox with warm white ones, which I'm really happy with. I filmed this as part of my Youtube series.

But now I have the double dilemma of General Illumination... Firstly I can't decide to go for cool or warm white, and then secondly do I stick with "Superflux" style LEDs or go for more traditional frosted GI type like I've got in a couple of places already (bunkers, top of the gate etc)?

I currently have Noflix GI style frosted bulbs in the following locations:
  • On top of the gate
  • Over the Bunker, control room and power shed
  • Spelling out T-R-E-X on the apron
Everywhere else is either Noflix Superflux (under playfield) or the original cheap cool white LEDs (easily accessible sockets towards the front) or incandescents (harder to access at the back) that I got it with.
