I am so close with this WCS - but whilst the game boots - I’ve had to put a new DMD board in it as it was dead on arrival and now this issue.. frustrating. Anyway, hopefully getting there.

The flippers are locking on as soon as the game is turned on. This only happens if the ribbon cable is attached to the Fliptronic board.

Here’s the rundown:

- Remove ribbon from sound and DMD board, still occurs.

- Remove fuses and test Fliptronic boards in switch they don’t work.

-Remove ribbon cable from Fliptronic - no locking, suggesting transistors are okay.

- Replaced and socketed the 4 shown chips on the Fliptronic board, no change.

I am guessing there are some chips on the MPU that could be changed...

Are all the flippers locking on? Is it the high power or hold current holding them up.
Disconnect the EOS header....
Make sure you have got the two mini IDC plugs the right way round. They should be keyed
In fact - disconnect both of them and then see if they still kick up!
That will elimate and wiring issue in the EOS circuit and the flipper switches.
They are on J905 and J906.
