I just found this on Pinside, it's not the actual campervan but its the kind of look I'd want to go for. Maybe something like this, except more realistic rust instead of it looking like skid marks up the bonnet!

Yeah can do that using the stuff above even have it bubbling up through the paint like on the real thing
