I recently bought a LED version on here as a spare should I buy another DMD pin some point so they are about.

Most folk prefer LCD. I think LED suits some titles not all..
This is debatable I have 3 x LED and sold my LCD on here for a number of reasons I’ll not get into.
My advice try both and choose the flavour that suits you best as each have there good/bad points to consider.
Either way both types are worlds away from old Skool DMDs so you will end up with a chicken dinner.
