As in you prefer the look of original DMD, nothing to do with build/tech quality?

What game did you have it in? I think these colordmd’s are great, so genuinely curious.

Yeah good question.. tbh it's because I grew up with 90s pinball and that's just how I remember them.

I do appreciate Color DMDs if I'm playing them on site or watching, especially this one which was out of a MB; can't deny it didn't look great.

But as a collector I like all original.

I’d like the lcd colordmd a Lot more if they got the screens made to size, surely that’s not that expensive now days especially if in bulk (for colordmd)

This is the reason I prefer the led version, but being a poor skin flint I plump for the pinball sp version anyhow.

For what it's worth you can run ColorDMD in a single colour mode, emulating the original DMD. Obviously that would be somewhat overkill, but it's an option.
