So LZ premium, Deadpool, turtles and JP2?
Stranger Things I thinkSo LZ premium, Deadpool, turtles and JP2?
There's one at Gravity in Wandsworth.I’ve taken a photo of The Mandalorian, as I’m sure many of you will be excited to see one of these in the wild.
There you are, stealing my thunderThere's one at Gravity in Wandsworth.
Yep, @Neil McRae's house - that famously 'wild' location
That's a nice room! I wished I had the space for this!
£2 for 1 game, £4 for two games, £5 for 4 games. What is the charge per game out of interest?
That pricing makes no sense to me (the second band is just double the first one!) and it is also not in line with everyone else.£2 for 1 game, £4 for two games, £5 for 4 games.
This would make much more sense!Pricing is yet to be decided. it will be cashless and it will be dynamic. so, in busy times it could be 3 games for £2 and in quiet times it could be a lot less
I was just quoting what was stuck to the machines. We didn't pay when I attended the venue. That pricing makes no sense to me (the second band is just double the first one!) and it is also not in line with everyone else.
One of the disadvantages of new Sterns is that the desire for complex code from home buyers makes the games less accessible to casual players onsite.Chief Coffee is IIRC £1 a game, 3 for £2 and even then I spend about £10 an hour playing - they're pretty new Sterns too, as well as some classics. There is absolutely no way I would pay £20 an hour to play pinball, and I suspect I'm the target market! I agree with Neil on this one. Also, the general public would be probably fuming paying £2 for a single game considering 98% don't know how to play the game. Just the other day, I was out playing and saw two guys give up on a JP because they couldn't work out how to put two players on it - the average person doesn't have the patience to learn pinball, particularly not at £2 a pop!

I played four games of JP2 before I started getting shots regularly, which is £3-4 before you can do anything except brick.
It's really noticeable with my four year old, who can knock up high scores regularly on Space Shuttle on iPad, but who is only just beginning to understand how to start modes on Lord of the Rings, which we've had in the house for several weeks now. It is also seriously off-putting having to read tightly-spaced text for how to play the game.
Okay. If I delete the line abut JP2, it makes more sense, i.e:shots and code aren’t related. If you can’t get the shots it doesn’t matter what code the game is running - hell it could be in switch test mode.
