Hello Guys

I have started my crasiest project in my life. Im going to build a Tz and I have nothing just the bare playfield. Because Im on a low budget Im going to do everything by myself. I started to copy the metal parts and made it from plastic after Im going to use a self build sheetmetal bender to bend the metal parts. My friend made a spot welder for me that is why Im going to weld the self made wire ramps. I copyed the gumball wire ramps already and it is looks good just need to weld the parts togother. Im also made a small vacuum former and I will try to copy the plastic ramps as well.
Later on Im going to do the wire harness and the cabinet from plywood.
If someone can see used parts somewere please let me know. Metal parts electronics plastics everything I might be interested in. I will keep updated this post.
Wish me good luck.
Best wishes
Baz

I always wondered if you could do something like this. I guess were gonna find out.
Looking forward to seeing this !

That’s not going to be easy but I’ll be watching with much interest.
I will be looking out for the “has anyone got …………………. “ posts to see if I can help.

I found Some parts locally as well.

It would be interesting to see if the pins current sale price is actually more or less the value of all the parts together.

I remember something along those lines being down with a car years ago where they added up the price of all the spare parts costs to essentially build a car from the spares and it ended up being massively more than the cost of buying the car new.

Im still doing the drawnings. This time the wire ramps.

100% expect it will, doing a good quality refurb on a 'project' machine costs way more than simply buying a good example in my experience. Cool project for the OP though, and a massive amount of work.

Not wanting to derail this thread, but for anybody interested.
Someone is trying to do similar with a Taf on Pinside
Problem being he seems completely new to pinball, soldering and electronics.

Good luck with TZ , I'm sure it's going to be more about the journey than the end result.

Today I made some metal parts. I used 1.5mm stainless steel and a jigsaw to cut the pieces.

Left side the original metals and the right side the homemade metal parts.
It will be a long journey.

Very cool job mate !!
After making a BBB and a Kingpin from the scratch I know what you started ;-)

Checked my boxes, this seems to be TZ stuff:

Need something ?? Would pass it to you for shipping costs.

The piano is a rare find from Mc Donalds in the 90s. Its easy to modify to this horrible expensive mod:

I can also sell you this transparent backboard shown in the shop for 284,99 Dollar but have to ask 160 EURO for it.
