BSD Love Never Dies Insert lit during game play

For some reason the Love Never Dies insert is constantly lit during a game, it goes off during attract mode.

In single lamp test it does not light up with any other lamp and appears to work properly.

I have reseated all backbox connectors.

Any suggestions please.

If it’s just the one lamp then it’s probably nothing to do with the gubbins in the back box - unless the lamp has a dedicated transistor.
Have you checked the lamp socket for a short circuit ?

Just read your post properly. If it works in lamp test then it can’t be a shorted diode/lamp holder I suppose.

Cut a piece of gaffa tape off and stick it over the insert. No more being bothered by the light......

Run lamp test, going through them individually. Faulty diode on a nearby light in the matrix would be my guess
