Bond New Code download issue

Hey All
Having real issues downloading new code.
Game has good connection but it keeps dropping out.
One minute it is strong signal, the next nothing!
Looking inside the backbox - the game has a usb dongle-
Godzilla has an antenna in the backbox compared!
I’ve put an extender cable in and running the dongle out of the cabinet- signal strength was great.. but then it dropped out again
Anyone else having this issue? Could it be the dongle?
I am
Downloading code to USB.. is it just the same - plug it into USB port and game will download?

yeah, just use USB if its dropping out. The dongles they are using are a ****show.

What about if you swap it over with your GZ dongle just to do the update ?

GZ one is like an antenna secured to the side of the backbox.. another example of stern cost cutting

my gz has the tiny usb dongle no antenna . it’s the furthest away from my wifi and works perfectly.

I figured out a much better startech usb wifi dongle that i use in my imdn. again that has no antenna but works really well. 300mbs instead of the stern ones which are 150.

i couldn’t get any of those antenna ones to work in either game.

Lonnie probably forgot to code the game so it could take an update

New code at MGC 88.1 revision so maybe the update link is down at sterns end?

Mine updated no probs dave and the new code is great much more going on

You could try creating a new SD card using the image on Stern's website.
