For sale is my World Cup Soccer, I would rate it as a very good players condition game.
The Good
Playfield stripped and cleaned, new rubbers.
No faults - football, goalie, lock magnet, display (and everything else!) all good.
Plays great!
Speaker upgrade, 8ohm setup with twin 2 way back box speakers, sounds lovely and clear.
Football keyring (£1.50 from the market.....)
The bad
Backbox has a few dings, though nothing major.
A couple of small marks on the playfield.
Broken plastic above the tackle target, though you don’t really see that when playing the game as it’s edge-on to you and also the ramp is partly over it.
Some LH ramp damage near the entrance and diverter (again you don’t really see that as the jackpot marquee is in the way) also a crack where it’s end is fixed by the RH slingshot.
The football has the usual dirt / wear. Replacements are available from Marco, but I haven’t felt the need to get one.
I’ve tried to ensure the bad points are highlighted, but really it looks good (good enough to be in the lounge without the better half complaining anyway) plays well and always raises a smile!
£1750 is pretty firm as I’m losing money already at that price (I know what I’ve spent on it isn’t really relevant to the sale price now....but hey) would also be interested in a trade. I’m particularly looking for Corvette or Scared Stiff or other WPC games, or my ‘older game’ wanted list includes Pharaoh, Firepower2 and Barracora.
