In Progress Bally Star trek custom colours

So I'm in the middle of Bally star trek Resto project.

was thinking of deviating from the stock colours as I find the bright yellow a bit mmmm jarring.

I've mocked up an alternative and thought I'd get some feedback from the group.

Personally prefer the black, unsure about reselling, if it would effect value.

that dodgy one on ebay at the moment has reversed colours,some people prefer untouched original when it comes to re-sale remember,but if it's a keeper I don't see it being an issue

I like the head of the first one but don’t like the colours of the two ships on the base , but at the end of the day it is your machine and you can do whatever you like to it .
When I did my space invaders , I put on colours what I liked and not the colours what should be on it
