Hi all

Finally got a house big enough to have my beloved childhood machine in - a '69 Gottlieb Spin a Card. Unfortunately when i came to get it out of storage at my parents shed, it had been fatally attacked by woodworm. Total write off. Gutted.
I have pictures if anyone would like to see - but it's a real horror show.
I've managed to save the back glass, the machine crumbled around it as I removed it.
My question is how to protect it now? I'd like to put it into a frame with some backlighting. The print is mostly OK, but there's a tiny bit of flaking. Has anyone ever found a way to coat the back to protect it - something like a varnish?
Hope this doesn't seem a stupid question.

krylon triple thick spray is what’s recommended. it’s hard to get hold of. i imported a few cans from usa a while ago.
