Love the Smiths and saw a cover band a week or two ago.

Without wathing the vid, I always thought it was a song anti pop/dance music emerging in the mid to late 80s - notably "hang the DJ, this music says nothing about my life!"

But hang which DJ ? Why the references to Leeds ? Provincial towns you jog round ? etc etc
The BBC covered it up. Folk were afraid to go public about Saville.
