After-Market Vehicle Warranty Recommendations?

Gents,
My very low mileage 5 series beamer is nearing 3 years.
The local BMW garage is offering a rather expensive warranty outside the manufacturers period.
Should I pay the extra and go with this or look at better value Warranty Direct or similar?

I had warranty direct on a 3 year old cla years ago and they where useless.

Check the maximum claim as i had a £3000 limit on mine from LR so decieded it was not worth the 1000 they were offering it for (it is a 3rd party they use to offer the warranty) and now my car is 4 years old and over 100000 miles they don't offer any warranty
