This is no doubt common knowledge but what do the comments with just a full stop mean?
See it quite a bit and thought it was just an accidental thing to start with but it obviously means more.

Thought it may be a way to get notifications about a thread but you can click watch on the 1st page so that doesn’t make sense.

I know not important but it’s the little things that twist my melon!

PS the 1st reply will probably be a full stop

I thought this a while back also, also seen people using them at times on Microsoft Teams at work. Appears its a way of getting notifications.

Thought it might be a bit juicier, like “ this thread isn’t worth a comment “ or “ I’m blanking you”
