After playing a variety of pins at NERG I fancy a change. Might also be interested in a sale if nothing turns up. For those unfamiliar with WPT:
The rules / code are deep for a 2006 game, has three multi-balls and six different main modes with lots of variation, good shooter’s game with most shots towards the back, two wire forms steel ramps and nice flow. 1st SAM board set and pin was manufactured in 2006. The infield DMD integrates well like a real game of Texas Hold’em and if you’re not an art critic; you’ll appreciate its lots of fun and more drop targets than you’d ever thought possible!
History of this pin- I bought from @Fat Lil’s who had bought from @Alpha1. It’s a players condition cabinet with a few scuffs / chips around the head box and a few marks elsewhere on the side art. It plays perfectly with no faults, no broken plastics, 100% LED’d mostly with comets from PH, recently been re rubbered and all four flippers were rebuilt a few months ago so it’s playing superb, DMD is perfect, has @xianek HIPs mirror blades which are a bit scuffed off lifting the playfield. Two small bits of ghosting on red ‘city’ inserts and one very small chip in the same place where a mylar panel was removed. The new owner may wish to cover if you’re concerned but it’s never gotten any worse since I’ve owned it. Rest of the playfield in very good condition / is spotless imo (gets regularly cleaned with Novus 1 and waxed with Carnuba). Had a mini strip down on the top side and under the upper playfield a few months ago. Metal posts, troughs, steel ramps and wire forms are all in very good condition.
The game must’ve originally came into the UK via Spain according to the Stern export label. In the back-box its had some form of soldered hack which I’ve tried to show in the photos- someone with more technical knowledge may know why this was needed; but doesn’t affect the gameplay in any shape or form. This may be why there are a few switch errors showing in the service menu. All rollovers, targets, lights, flashers, coils etc work as they should.
I’m based near Cullercoats Bay on the north east coast- if anyone is wanting to play and inspect you’re more than welcome. Can do a straight trade or a bit cash either way depending on your game- no wide-bodies or projects, otherwise- what you got?
I’m mainly interested in other SAM era Stern games (not WOF) , Stern Whitestar or 90’s DMD games.
Edit- More photos now added!
Thanks for looking,
Peter
