Leading on from solenoids in my WCS being too weak and putting another board in and all good I took a look at the board this morning.
Looks like it’s been desoldered and left but why would you do that?
Should I just reflow/solder it and try? Have decent solder station.
Am I right that this powers the solenoids?
Thanks.

Maybe the track on the other side is kaput and jumper wires have been used? Can you photo?

It is wired eleectrically on the other side of the pcb & should be definitely soldered on the other side, so no real need to solder it to two pads that dont go anywhere on this side! But no harm in soldering them up - solder should run down the hole and help make a better contact on the other side, so worth doing esp if you are having issues with that part of the circuit.

Resolder immediately! Not good like that even if soldered one side. Just asking for a cold solder joint. A plate through hole has a copper rivet all the way through for best current load

or finish the job and desolder the other 2 legs and replace!

Well it was doing something because there was 72v at coils just not enough oomph, will solder up- check and put in.
Amazed it did anything.

Just resoldered the pins put it back in and all good, who’s a lucky boy then!
Also renewed slingshot mechs, flipper, target and few bits, all working good now.
Another one off the list😁
