WPC Bad sub sound

The sound form the Roadshow I picked up the other day is fairly crappy,
So I was looking around it last night and noticed the back box speakers sound great but the sub sounds ****e!
Its all distorted,
I tried another speaker and it sounds the same so it must be the amp,
cant see anything obvious on the sound board.
any ideas?

I would double-check the cable continuity from the audio board to the speaker terminals and ensure their nice and low and similarly remove the board and check the header pins for cracked soldered joints. Other then that its shotgun the usual suspects thats well documented eg replace large capacitors, TL084's & TDA2030A's
