Pending.. WOZ standard edition £5500

Hi,
Putting my Wizard of Oz up for sale for 6k. May consider a trade + cash for a Stern premium like EHOH, JP2 or maybe Godzilla.

Machine has been to Nerg and other public events so not HUO. It was also used in the Ted Lasso series, so has some cabinet bumps and scrapes from being moved around but has a full set of new decals to go with the machine.

Full titan rubbers fitted.
Playfield protector fitted.
Upgraded capacitors on the power board has improved the flipper feel and boosted power to magnets, toys, bumpers, slings, kickouts etc.

A really good, packed machine with great theme integration.

Very heavy!

Oh, also has a box full of spare lighting boards and comms cables.

It’s wide as well, I had to take my living room door off to get it in when I sold it in 2016.

It is wide but I think the head is the same size as a Bally/Williams at 730mm. Modern Sterns are about 710mm wide at the head.

Had the pleasure of meeting Ryan earlier today and had a nosey at this WOZ while I was there. Looked very nice and clean. The temptation to take it home was there but the wife would have killed me so I didnt.

I had missed the fact when I read the original listing that it came with a new set of light boards. I know JJP don't make them anymore so will definitely become more sought after. Seems like a very good price when you consider the value of the light boards.

Really surprised its not sold but maybe I'm not the only one who missed the comment saying it had a set of spare light boards.

The spare lighting kit with WOZ isn't actually new though. It came off Paul Owen's machine when he upgraded his kit.

This is so tempting, I wish I had the spare cash. I'm guessing with the original boards and a spare set included the likelihood of ever needing the 2.0 boards is quite slim?

I'd still pick up the 2.0 boards if the opportunity arose.

The majority of these WOZ machines were made in 2013, meaning most are 12 years old and still going strong on original boards. For future home use, along with an extra set of boards, this ought to endure longer than the majority of us. I sold my WOZ due to concerns that it would fail and I'd be unable to find parts for it. Now understanding that the problem wasn't as severe as I believed, the machines continue to flourish without any problems in domestic settings. I still regret selling my WOZ. It is a brilliant game! Theme didn't tick any boxes for me on paper, but the game is absolutely fantastic and after I played one game, I knew I wanted to own it. I literally emailed the guy who bought my old one a few years back asking him to sell it back to me, thats genuinely how much I wanted another one. I've just picked up another game from the seller of this WOZ this week and have 2 more on order, otherwise I'd be grabbing this. Its a top game and the price is below what it should be now.
