Hey all,
I played pinball for 20 years when visiting grandparents in Blackpool. Loved it. Then played virtual for a couple of years and I’d like to get a couple for my games room, next to the pool table.
Couple of things - are there any pinball competitions or places in Buckinghamshire? (I’m in Waddesdon) and secondly does anyone want to rent or sell me a decent machine? I’m thinking things like High Speed 2, Attack from Mars, Monster Bash, Cirque Voltaire, that sort of thing. Basically I want one that’s good to play, no a basic one.
Thanks in advance - I’m completely new to this 😳

It’s defo a buyers market at the moment mate. For the first time in a while the tables are turning I think. Lots sitting unsold as the sellers decide whether to gamble on stick or twist!

Have a trawl through the for sale section and don’t be afraid to stick an offer in. The worst they can say is no! Which games are good is a very subjective opinion so decide for yourself. Good luck. Oh and I hear Baywatch is ****ing incredible. 🤷‍♂️

Hey,

Cirqus Voltaire is rare, you won't get one unless you are willing to coax a buyer with what people would deem as a over valued price.

Monster Bash rarely shows up and is also an expensive purchase.

Getaway is a dime a dozen and fairly easy to grab. Personally I found the game boring.

Attack From Mars is similar desirability to Monster Bash.

Despite being a buyer's market at the moment you've got a lot of desirable pins in your list there. My suggestion is, if you get one offered, don't dally on it. You can ask for valuations on 'how much is this pin worth' thread to get a feeling for 'current market value'.

Buyers market for the average pin I guess, the desirable ones will always be hard to get.

There’s a competition at my place near High Wycombe in south Buckinghamshire next Sunday 21st May if you want to come and play some games and meet some other friendly pinheads. It’s a London and South east league meet and pretty casual - some people come to win and some just come for a chat and a chance to play some different games.

Hi, i’m not that far from @Mfresh london side. i have a V Pin and GZ if you want to come try them out for size. Hopefully another in a couple weeks 🙃
