I need to do some work on a Gottlieb transformer (replace fuse holders). I just wanted to check if there's any safety risk with the machine unplugged before I start? i.e. will it still hold electricity?

Not like working on CRTs.. some of the larger electrolytic capacitors can hold some charge, but afaik, nothing to worry about.
If the plug's out of the wall, should be good to go..

Cheers! That's what I figured but didn't want to find out I was wrong the hard way
