I realise I'm out of touch with newer games nowadays (the majority of of my games are over 32 years old let alone 2......) but do JJP flippers generally need rebuilding after 2 years?

Hi Andy- not a full rebuild, upper flipper was sticky so new linkage and coil sleeve I think. Lower left flipper also sticky so @pinballmania worked his magic

my daughter and other halfs favourite in your basement, whats next?
Yes we will miss it but time for something new and we need the space.
Not confirmed yet , something good though!

Re. the longevity of flipper mechanisms; a lot depends on the amount of use they get, and the difficulty of the objectives faced. I read once that the upper flipper on Dirty Harry had to be on top form to reliably make the ramp, and that with heavy use it could go 'off' in a few days.
