So frustrating!! I have spent the whole morning trying to work out why these lights are out. I have changed the connector, reseated it countless times, taken the board out and checked the solder joints and all to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas???

Try checking that the bulbs are the correct ones! Once, I spent ages trying to get some flashers working in a game and eventually found that someone had put the wrong bulbs in (12v ones rather than 5v ones) even though they looked the same...!

The lights on my taxi topper wouldn't work. Turned out to be dry solder on a lamp PCB on the back of the lamp board in the back box. Is game show system 11? If so sounds probable

So frustrating! Today I took the circuit board out and re-soldered the joints. I fitted a brand new connector and double checked the wiring. Put it all back together and the lights are still out. I don't know what to check next! Anyone have any ideas?

Never had transistor issue with GI ...are transistors even in the GI equation ????, I know triacs are but think they are rarely the issue. In my experience GI probs are almost always cracked joints, broken trace, burned connectors etc.

Ha ur right changed the transistor but later on found it was a broken track. Ignor me I've had no sleep
