Williams rivets

Hi all

I'm looking to change some plastics on my Dirty Harry but they're riveted on. Having used pop rivets before I thought these would be straight forward.

It seems theyre called single cap rivets or squash rivets. Theres some old threads on pinside but ideally looking for something in the UK. Ideally looking to replace for as best possible match but open to any other ideas, tool less rivets or leather type, just NOT pop rivets!

Semi tubular rivets they're called, if they're the same type used to secure ramp flaps.

M3 semi tubular rivets are the size you need, in varying lengths (3mm to 6mm or so) and then use one of these and a pin hammer to squish em

Why rivet them ? Just use a nut and bolt.

Its alot cleaner finish and I think I'd struggle to get a nut and bolt in a few places without causing restrictions.

Thought I'd update here as managed a successful repair.

I couldn't find the M3 x 6mm rivets but found some M3 x 7mm on amazon.

I was also too impatient to wait for the gun head so used a centre punch kit. The first one was a bit ropey but got the knack and happy with the outcome.
