hello I have a 1987 Williams Fire pinball, I've owned it since 1989 ( a long time ) this machine is in tip top condition as it's hardly been use uther than the first year I bought it. Please. Could some one give me a realistic figure this machine is probably worth. I don't want to sell it as it has a lot of sentimental value in it for me.

Hi mate.
As it's been in private possession for so long and it's in great condition you could possibly realise £1000 to someone who really wanted it.

Fire is a fun little game but not on many peoples must have list and the price seems to be around £700 typically

Stick some pics up. It's a rare sight for such a game to be privately owned for so long

Yes I was thinking around those figures, my dad bought me this when I was about 12 or 13 ( I was obsessed with pinball machines back then ) it came from an amusement company in Wigan they used to rent fruit machines, video games and pinballs out all over the North West. Iam 40 now so that's how long I've had it. It's a great game for a machine nearly 30 years old.
Thankyou for your input

I agree and it's only worth what some one is prepared to pay, the only thing as far as I can see wrong with it is the rubbers around the triangular left and right bits where the ball pings off near the flippers iare a bit perished. Please can you tell me are these a special rubbed part to this machine, or are they standard to most. If so where shall I buy them from.

Does the game still have the big brass bell on top of the backbox? Having this intact can make a difference in the value of the machine.

A lot of people found that bell annoying and so removed it. You may of course have just disconnected the solenoid that rings it to quieten it.

The bell solenoid had a threaded adjustment facility, which altered the upward 'travel' of the plunger, allowing some degree of control over the bell volume. But it was annoying, possibly the most annoying topper before Fish Tales.

Wow there's some knowledgeable people on here. Yes the bell is still intact and working fine. I know what you mean about it being loud though.
