As titled selling a nice high speed for a customer of mine. The short history here is that the game has been owned by their family for 30+ years. I restored it back to fully working condition back in 2019 where many new parts were fitted including all new stand up traffic light targets (9),new ramp traffic light cover and plastic, new legs & coin door

Inspected it today and it plays fine. Only problem was the owner had lost the keys and the game had run down the remote batteries so settings were lost. New batteries installed and door lock opened. (Will need new front door lock.)

Playfield still looks very nice and rubbers/balls still ok. Had very little use since I sorted it in 2019. Backglass very nice original. Cabinet original (not stickers) good condition not faded, few age related marks /dings but solid and clean.

Pics below are from today. Videos also available via pm.

Buyer will need to collect and be comfortable packing the game up for transport. The owners are not ‘pinball collectors’ and want the least amount of distruption/hassle as they have 2 young children now and changing priorities . No time for pinball!!

£2100. Collection From Harrogate.

SOLD, not on here....

I thought people on here were crying out for lower end nice working games at around the 2k price point???? If you want a game you really need to have the 'gumption' to hire a van and get on with it... That's what people used to do to get the games...

oh well... next..

One thing I have learnt over the years is what ppl say and what they actually do are two very different things lol

I think that we are in a very frothy market. Some folk are still paying top money. Others are running scared. Lots more games up for sale right now.

My mate with the patek Philippe....... his 28k watch of 4 or 5 years ago peaked at 115k or so a few months back. Now it is more like 75k. Bitcoin has dropped about 50 per cent over the same time too.

Meeting buyers' and sellers' pricing expectations may become tricky

Pinball prices are a subject for me not ever spending over £600 to buy one (Few Years ago). But I'm beginning to think I've let a good one slip through my fingers, 7 Hours away or not like @myPinballs said If you want a game you really need to have the 'gumption' to go get it. I've spent all week trying to persuade the missus she needs a shopping trip to Meadow Hall in Sheffield :D . 2004 I drove to Saarbrucken Germany to get one though it was only 450euro when I got there, should of filled the van he had a lockup full.

Great game at a reasonable price being sold by a know experienced member of the community. I will book mark this for the next thread about no games being sold, prices are insane, all deals are done via the Illuminati.

7 hour round trips to collect pinballs use to be norm and a right of passage. Having a car that could fit one in or hiring a van, so you could get one quick. I never did it that way but have had the fun of driving a van full of pins and some ending up at my house.

I am sure each person has their own reason for not snapping this up. Best of luck to the new owner.
