We have a lot of smart folk on here. The greatest thing you could do is build a time machine.

A lot going on in this one. No drama. No woke. No oppression. No victimhood. No talk of Brexit. No culture wars. Just folk getting paid, having a laugh, everyone having a great time ...

Conveniently glazing over the hand-wringing moral outrage and minor “culture war” created by this very song, amidst a broader backdrop of oppressive societal homophobia, in a country run by… erm… Thatcher

..plus the real threat of nuclear war looming over the world.

If we're going back, please set the time machine to 98..... then destroy it.

80s probably edges the 90s for music but other than that your missing out all the best pins, cars, computer games, internet when it was actually useable but not all consuming, world felt safe and Britain had some optimism about the future, plus DVDs had come out, so we could sack off those awful VHS tapes.
