howdy

My white water is missing the actuator of a switch in the top left hand corner, it seems to be for if you shoot up the disaster drop ramp and it goes round to the left before coming out towards the flippers again from the left most lane.

Anybody know what sort of actuator should be on the switch ?

I have a few of those spare if you want me to pop one in the post Ian?. PM me you address and I'll stick it in an envelope tomorrow.

Thanks guys but I don't think that's the one.

I think Switch 43 is the one that pokes through the playfield from below (I have the boards out at the moment but will confirm later when replaced) the switch I'm talking about doesn't seem to be in the manual (typical) it's right up at the curve of the plastic ramp a few inches behind the loop switch, it's mounted on the top of the ramp

I'm thinking I will need to get the boards back in and Id the switch electronically, not even sure what it does, maybe confirms what the optos at the entrance to disaster drop saw...

Cheers
Ian

P.s Kevlar are you the Kev I had a game with at the pinball party ?

Yes Ian, I am the guy you thrashed at the PP :). On Blackout if I remember correctly.

I think the term you are looking for is I fluked a win. Always good to put a face to a name though

Edit
Cheers replicas, I might have something suitable, Im guessing it's a straight metal one as it only needs to sense one direction as its on a raised ramp that can't be reached the other way, it just passes underneath the ramp

Ok put the boards back in

Put in switch test and the switch registers as switch 57 which seems to be 'canyon main' but it's on the other side according to the manual. I'm up at my folks now to watch the race so will check again later to see if there is a switch over there also...

The plot thickens

That is the correct switch. I've had problems with this little monkey before.

Cheers all, I think this is what I need

Also Thanks Peter for your ninja manual skills

I'm guessing the guy that had it before me probably found a bent bit of metal on my the playfield and binned it.

Saying that there was a box of car bulbs in the coin box when I got it home
