Heads up soldiers
I had wanted try one of these for ages - *can* reduce the annoying 12v hum in DE games . And a few Segas.
I have read lots of reviews / comments and basically results seem to vary from machine to machine , owner to owner. Some noticing marked improvement, some not
Anyway I have had my DE Tommy sound board powered from a Meanwell RT-65 for years now. Connected to incoming power then feeding the sound board.Reduced the hum a good bit .
I was interested though if this White Noise would work as well or better . It’s simpler as it piggy backs straight on to the sound board.
In a nutshell - it didn’t , it was certainly better than just the factory setup but wasn’t better than the Meanwell.
So - if anyone fancies trying it on their DE game I’ll pass it on for £10 + postage.
Like I say may work it’s magic , it may not. Loads of reviews / comments out there on it.
I have literally taken out of box , tried it and reboxed.
Think it cost me ÂŁ30 + post from Dave at Retro Arcade .
