Up for sale my System 11 Williams Whirlwind. I have owned this for several years and always intended on restoring this but never got round to it and just played it. Hardly used now so it has to go.
This is definitely a players machine rather than some mint condition unit and has all the usual dings and dents for a machine this old.
Condition wise:
I have always had any repairs or servicing done by Andy Netherwood (as I know naff all) and he thought that all the boards were good with no nasty hacks.
It always starts immediately with no faults and everything works.
The playfield is in good condition for the year and has little signs of wear but it would benefit from a clean and strip down.
It has had a brand new main ramp and a new lift ramp plastic.
Some of the plastics are broken but I have covered them in the photos below.
All 3 flippers were rebuilt by Andy and the spinners have recently had a repair after the circuit board came away from the motor.
I realise that I am an unknown on here so I'm sure that Andy will be able to comment on the machine if you DM him.
These are pretty rare and the advice on here seemed to suggest a price of £2500-£2600.
I'm looking for £2500 which I think will be a fair price for the best System 11 machine around.
Located in Nuneaton. Note that you will need to bring someone with you to collect as the machine will only go through the door tilted on its side or with the backbox removed. A donation will be made to the site if it sells.
Thanks all.
