VIZ top tip - Stick a bit of plywood on the top of the fridge and hey presto - fancy, modern kitchen island! Your wife will be putty in your hands.

Ha ha. Nice idea. Unfortunately it's a fridge freezer so we'd have to be about 12ft tall!!

Grab yourself a spade, dig a hole, and half-bury said white goods item before affixing the plywood. Wifey will still be putty but there will be the small inconvenience of being unable to access the lower drawers.

So perhaps chip a hole in the floor of the top section so you can reach in for the frozen goods?
