Anyone got any clues as to what size these screws are? A 6mm won't fit and a 7mm too big. Anyone know? They are mostly under the playfield on 80s machine holding lamp sockets in place.

Thanks

The above links are to "machine screws" which in UK would be called "bolts". I cant tell from the pic whether they are bolts or screws, but If they are screws they will likely be #6 x 3/8" and make sure you don't use screws that are too long on thinner brackets as they will go through the playfield.

The main pinball suppliers do a useful bag of bits tha covers al bases (for screws, at least).

Fingers crossed that between the two of us we’ve got the right answer haha

Thanks everyone for the replies. I had a big clear out and I think I threw away a bag that had my only socket that fitted these. 😤

If it is 1/4 inch, you could use a multi screwdriver (the ones that accept all the little hex bit attachments) if you have one.
