What’s this?

Got this with a pin years ago. I think it’s a wire that lights up. Any ideas and what voltage it might be?
Will be up for sale as I don’t think I will be needing it.

Yeah EL wire . Usually runs off 12v .

Seemed to be a more popular mod a few years ago before the LED revolution kicked off.
