WH2O coil down grade

Hi All,

been told to prevent damage to playfield on a WH2O caused by the lost mine kickout, I need to down grade the current coil AE-23-800 to the next weakest one. Which would that be please?

This thread suggests using an AE-23-1200. I seem to recall the more windings on a coil (the 1200 part) means less 'pull' strength.

AE-26-1200 or AE-27-1200

I used the latter on a friends Wh20. Fixed it immediately.

Great help guys thanks for the info - just so happens I have a new ae-26-1200

No matter what coil you use they will all cause damage.
The reason behind swapping for a weaker coil is to stop the ball going SDTM.

Yep ...the weaker coil makes the mine kick out a much more consistent and controllable feed to right flipper . Well it did on my game.

Its already done - a repair patch and then 6 coats of clearcoat!!
