Do you think it will scratch up the cab?
They can do, just jam a rag in there or something to hold it away from the side art.

Can't you prop the front of the cab up enough to shut it? I had the same problem when picking up a massive football table. 10mins down the road I decided it wasn't going to be safe to go on the motorway. Bit of jiggling and propping up and suddenly was able to get the boot shut.

These stupid seats don't fold down completely. Tried everything, we are not moving out of the slow lane lol !!!
Good luck! Hopefully you won't get pulled by plod. Keep your windows open as you'll probably be getting exhaust fumes sucked in.
