Switched on today and the ramp isn't flush with the play field any more, causes the ball to jump. Can't see any obvious issues, there's no adjustment in the mechanism and it's suddenly 5mm clear rather than sitting snug. When the opto is triggered the ramp rises fine so the coil seems ok, and I can push the ramp down with very light pressure so it's not stuck on anything. Help?

Bounces too much, the gap is too high to bridge by bending the ramp flap.

Has the machine been in the sun ?
What's the cause of this ?
Might help us answer you question if we know what's happened.

Something is in the way and stopping it from completing its movement? A bit of rubber? A bit of grit?

How does the mech work that makes the ramp raise and lower, if you can get close enough to take some pics for us, in the process you may discover the cause.

It's not been in the sun, no idea what has caused it, just switched it on and noticed the balls jumping when they hit the ramp entrance. There's nothing stopping it completing the movement, and it's sitting on the stop under the playfield, it's just the stop isn't adjustable and as it sits it's not flush with the playfield. I'll try and take some pics of the mech when I get back from work.
Also got a flaky opto on the loop, might be a job for Andy@pinballmania

Nope, waiting on Andy to put a road trip together as there's a broken opto too
